When to go: The best time is from December to April, when the island enjoys tropical weather with temperatures between 26°C and 32°C. June to November is not recommended, due to rain and possible hurricanes, although in July and August the beaches are super crowded because it's the Cubans' holiday period; during these months you can get to know the real Cuban reality, with the noisy and cheerful outdoor festivals, such as the anniversary of the revolution on 26 July.
